When can I plant Lunaria in Zone 6b

One of the first steps we take when we are making a decision about our gardening schedule is find our USDA Zone info. The most important data that the zone info tells us is average last frost and the lowest expected temperature for our area.

The earliest that you can plant lunaria in Zone 6b is February. However, you really should wait until March if you don't want to take any chances.

The last month that you can plant lunaria and expect a good harvest is probably September. If you wait any later than that and your lunaria may not have a chance to really do well. You can get started a couple of weeks earlier by starting your lunaria indoors.

On average the last frost when the weather gets warmer is on April 15 in Zone 6b. In the coldest months of winter we can expect an average low temperature of -5°F.
