When can I plant Mustard in Zone 4b

Before planting it is a good idea to find our USDA Zone info to determine our garden schedule. The most important data that the zone info tells us is average last frost and the lowest expected temperature for our area.

The earliest that you can plant mustard in Zone 4b is May. However, you really should wait until June if you don't want to take any chances.

The last month that you can plant mustard and expect a good harvest is probably August. Any later than that and your mustard may not have a chance to grow to maturity. You can get started a few weeks earlier by starting your mustard indoors.
