When can I plant Stevia in Zone 4b

The earliest that you can plant stevia in Zone 4b is May. However, you really should wait until June if you don't want to take any chances.

The last month that you can plant stevia and expect a good harvest is probably August. If you wait any later than that and your stevia may not have a chance to really do well. You can get started a little bit earlier by starting your stevia indoors.

On average the last frost is on May 15 in Zone 4b. In the coldest months of winter we should expect an average low temperature of -25°F.
