When can I plant Sutera in Zone 12a

One of the best tools that we have as gardeners to help us determine our gardening schedule is the USDA zone info. The most important data that the zone info tells us is average last frost and the lowest expected temperature for our area.

The first chance to plant sutera in Zone 12a should be estimated by looking at the USDA zone info.

The earliest that you can plant sutera in Zone 12a is January. However, you really should wait until February if you don't want to take any chances.

The last month that you can plant sutera and expect a good harvest is probably November. You probably don't want to wait any later than that or else your sutera may not have a chance to really do well. You can get started a couple of weeks earlier by starting your sutera indoors.

In Zone 12a it never frosts. We should expect an average low temperature of 50°F in the coldest months of winter.
